We arrived at Monument Valley in the late afternoon after a long day of driving. We were greeted with a scene you might recognize from the movie, Forrest Gump. My shot isn't an exact replica as, for some reason, they wouldn't block the road so I could stand in the middle and duplicate the shot from the movie. The sky was a bit bland so I added one with a little more drama.

| After the morning hike and lunch we were too late to take the drive through the valley so we spent the afternoon on our balcony reading and enjoying the afternoon scenery and a great sunset. |
