Before Christmas I headed out to the Salt River and the hills north of the river in search of the horses. Unfortunately after 3 hours and 6 miles of hiking up and down the hills and along the river I was both shutout and plumb tuckered out. That has rarely happened (the shutout part) however this year they seem to have changed their grazing patterns. I will go back out again after the new year. I did however get a few nice landscape shots.
