Nanaimo Harbour

After spending a few hours at the Wildlife Centre we drove down to the Nanaimo harbour for lunch and a little walk on the waterfront.  

A very pretty harbour with a great walk that goes on and on and on.  

Some very nice condos in the distance.  The gangplank in the foreground takes passengers to their waiting plane.  A coastal version of a taxi service. 

Cruise ship docked in the distance. 

Plane was loaded with passengers heading somewhere where land travel won't take them. 

These boats were devoted to cleaning up spills in the water.  Lets hope they are seldom utilized.
