Today we drove to the Lookout Hill Trail, which was about 5.8kms, 2.8kms felt like it was straight up, coming down was so much easier. The views overlooked Gros Morne National Park and they were amazing!! We then went on a 4km hike of the Tablelands. The scenery was completely different than our first hike. One more day in Rocky Harbour, then back to St. John’s for the trip home.
Lori finds a friend. Actually there were 2 Newfoundland dogs and they filled up the back seat. |
The view from the top of Lookout Hill trail. |
This mountain range is called Tablelands. It is actually the earths crust which was pushed up to the surface a few million years ago. Nothing grows here. |
Next up our last day at Gros Morne National Park
Great pics as always :-) JC
