We made it out of Oakbank before the weather turned and headed to Lethbridge for a few days to visit the boys (Carrie was off on a ladies only adventure with her mom and sister). We had a quick visit, took in one of Milo's hockey games and then headed south towards Gold Canyon, Az. Our stops along the way included Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Capital Reef and Monument Valley. More on that later. Much later actually as I still have our Newfoundland trip to finish up.
But first, here is a teaser with our first little walk in the park at BTA.

After a week of settling in we are pretty much ready to resume our usual activities although the temperatures need to drop a little before we resume our usual hiking activities.
