Up at 5:30 this morning (Don I don't know how or why you get up this early every morning) so I could be online at 6:00 (8:00 CST) and try to reserve a full service site at Clear Lake for Aug. Site was so jammed up I couldn't get access till 6:05 and all full service were gone. Bonus though, did manage to snag site 139 in electric only. Never have been able to get this one before. Best site in the whole campground; flat, shady, room for lawn chairs, awning and right across from water tap. Just have to bring a 50 ft garden hose to fill up and my tote to empty tanks. Will have to go to campground showers but at Clear lake they are pretty nice so no big sacrifice.
By Aug I'm sure we will need a break from unpacking in the house and shopping for furniture and other stuff to make the new place HOME.
Got pics of interior of our house courtesy of our friends, Deb & Don. He had to tromp through something he called a SNOWBANK (ha, ha, southwest humour) to get to a window so he could peer in and snap some pics. They were supposed to be done by Dec 15, although they are obviously taking advantage of the fact we won't be back till April as very few of the finishings are in. Kitchen cabinets are mostly in but flooring, baseboards, countertop etc still not in.
Better be done by time we are back or I will unleash Lori on them.
