After another long break I'm back at it. A few more days of Newfoundland pictures and then on to our winter adventures in Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and points south.
First up was a boat tour around Bonne Bay. This time we stayed safely in the bay and didn't venture out to sea. Lots of great scenery, calm waters and some great eagle sightings.
After lunch we hiked the Lighthouse trail and for the evening we had dinner and a show at a local watering hole. Great food and entertainment from Anchors Aweigh.

Our cruise took us around the Bay for a view of

This juvenile bald eagle had just finished lunch.
Takes up to 2 years for them to get their
white head feathers.
Lunch was done so time to fly. Right at me.
Shutter speed was a little slow to get crisp shots
but the wing action was something to see.
Dad was sitting high up in the cliffs keeping watch on junior.
The lighthouse trail provided some great scenery
